• 500g Yellowfin Tuna
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 pinch salt
  • ½ cup sesame seeds (white, black or both)
  • 1 Tbsp teriyaki sauce




  1. Dry both sides of the tuna with a paper towel
  2. Season both sides with salt
  3. Brush on teriyaki sauce on both sides
  4. Spread sesame seeds on a plate and coat tuna on both sides
  5. Heat olive oil over high heat and sear tuna for 30 seconds on each side
  6. Remove from pan and slice into desired thickness
  7. Place over your choice of greens and drizzle more teriyaki sauce on top
