Ingredients

For the noodles:

  • 2 packs shirataki noodles
  • 500 grams organic chicken breast, cut into ¼ inch strips
  • ¼ tsp white pepper
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • 2 tbsp organic sesame oil
  • ½ white onion, chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 organic carrot, julienne
  • 1 organic green bell pepper, julienne
  • 1 cup shiitake mushroom, sliced
  • 3 tsp cornstarch
  • Sesame seeds

For the orange ginger sauce:

  • ¾ cup pure orange juice
  • 3 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 3 tbsp liquid aminos
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 2 tbsp organic honey
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tsp organic ginger, finely grated
Procedure
  1. Season the chicken with salt, pepper, garlic, and onion powder. Refrigerate.
  2. Boil water and cook shirataki noodles according to package instructions.
  3. Pour orange juice, rice vinegar, liquid aminos, oyster sauce, honey, garlic, and ginger into a small sauce pan. Boil for 5 minutes.
  4. In another sauce pan, heat sesame oil on low and sauté onions first then garlic. Add chicken and stir until cooked through.
  5. Add carrots, bell pepper, then mushrooms and stir-fry for 2 to 3 minute only.
  6. Add orange ginger sauce and cornstarch while stirring. Add more honey if desired.
  7. Toss shirataki noodles in sauce pan. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top before serving.
