  • striploin, ribeye or T-bone beef cut
  • olive oil
  • salt and black pepper
  • Heat the pan or barbecue (high heat).
  • Make sure the steak is at room temperature. Drizzle a little olive oil over the steak and season with salt and black pepper just before placing it on the hot pan or barbecue.
  • Cook for two minutes, then turn and cook for another two minutes on the other side.
  • Allow to rest for a few minutes before serving
