• 1 pack spaghetti (450g)
  • 2 dozen hard clams
  • salt
  • black pepper (ground)
  • 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley





  1. Bring a pot of water to a boil and add salt. Cook spaghetti until al dente, and drain.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet. Add garlic and red pepper, and cook until garlic is brown.
  3. Add clams and water, and simmer for 8 minutes until clams are cooked through & open. Discard unopened clams.
  4. Add in cooked spaghetti and parsely. Season with pepper and toss.
  5. Remove from heat after 1 minute and serve right away.
