• 1/4 cup Healthy Options Quinoa
  • 3/4 cup water
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • Evaporated Milk
  • ½ cup Healthy Options Sunflower Seeds




1. Boil the quinoa, water, and salt on high, and when you see it come to a rapid boil, reduce the heat to low. Cover then simmer for 10 mins.

2. Add in your cocoa powder and sugar. Gradually add more or less of each as needed.

3. Stir in a splash of evaporated milk and enjoy! Because it is made with quinoa, it will not be as thick as the traditional version. You could add a teaspoon of cornstarch slurry.

4. Sprinkle some sunflower seeds and enjoy!
