RXBAR is voluntarily recalling a variety of flavors due to potential undeclared peanut allergen, aaccording to a press release.

"Best By" dates range between 1/14/19 and 10/19/19, depending on the variety. A full chart can be found on RXBAR's website.

Flavors include Apple Cinnamon, Blueberry, and Chocolate Chip, among others. RXBAR Kids flavors affected are Apple Cinnamon Raisin, Berry Blast, and Chocolate Chip.

RXBAR identified the potential for peanut in two varieties in December and initiated the recall of those varieties at that time, but are now expanding the recall after receiving consumer contacts regarding allergic reactions to additional varieties, according to the press release.

RXBAR said that the company's investigation concluded that the issue stems from a specific ingredient from a supplier; the company changed suppliers for that ingredient upon concluding the investigation.

Clif Bar & Company is initiating a voluntary recall due to possible presence of undeclared peanuts and some tree nuts, including almonds, Brazil nuts, cashews, hazelnuts, macadamia nuts, pecans, walnuts and coconuts. They are taking this precautionary safety step for people who are allergic to peanuts and these listed tree nuts. People with an allergy to peanuts and these specific tree nuts run the risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction. The company is strongly advising consumers who have peanut and these specific tree nut allergies not to consume these bars.

Individuals who are not allergic to peanuts or these specific tree nuts may safely consume the products.
