we believe in loving food, not wasting it
There are 1.3 billion tons of food wasted every year. In the Philippines alone, according to the Food and Nutrition Research Institute of the Department of Science and Technology (FNRI-DOST), the average food wastage is 3.29kg/year. Millions of Filipinos under poverty are struggling to be fed, and the food we simply throw away might actually be enough to feed them. Food waste also emits 8% of total global greenhouse gas emissions that cause on impact on global warming. Negative factors caused by food waste exist, and not enough people are aware of them. But it’s not too late to start respecting the food we eat. Love food, don’t waste.
